Job Opportunity for Associate Pastor of Youth and Ministry Development
Fort George Baptist Church has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Pastor of Youth and Ministry Development for an individual who is passionate about discipling people, building teams, and helping others grow in their participation in the life of the church.
Working alongside our pastoral staff and ministry leaders, this position will focus primarily on leading and developing our youth ministry while also helping strengthen volunteer culture, discipleship pathways, and ministry teams throughout the church. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills who naturally connects with people, enjoys building relationships, and is energized by encouraging and equipping others for ministry.
Fort George Baptist Church is located in the growing and vibrant community of Prince George, British Columbia. We are a multi-generational church seeking to help people “Recover the Abundant Life Jesus Calls us into.” On a Sunday morning you will find people of different ages and backgrounds united in worship, Biblical teaching, authentic community, and a shared desire to follow Jesus together.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders to create environments where students can encounter Jesus, where volunteers are encouraged and equipped, and where people increasingly move from attendance to meaningful participation in ministry and mission.
