Church Vision. That we would recover the abundant life that Jesus calls us into.
Sunday Morning. Worship on Sundays begins at 10:30 am and consists of singing, prayer and biblical preaching aimed at glorifying and worshiping our Triune God. We celebrate the Lord's Supper on a bi-monthly basis.
Come as you are. There is no dress code.
Kid’s Ministry. We have Kid's Ministry classes that run throughout the year for ages 16 months to Grade 6 with screened volunteers. During the summer, we do not have classes, but have worship packets that kids can take. We do have a nursery space where parents can supervise their littles, if needed.
Church Leadership. Our goal is that people have opportunities to use their skills and God-given gifts to serve within the church and broader community. Ministry at FGBC fits into 6 categories:
- Discipleship Team - Recovering the abundant life Jesus calls us into by training and equipping God’s people in community to grow in Christlikeness and help others do the same, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- Facilities Team - Recovering the abundant life Jesus calls us into by caring for and stewarding the facility that God has entrusted to us.
- Fellowship Team - Recovering the abundant life Jesus calls us into by creating a safe and welcoming space for people to grow their faith and walk through life with other believers.
- Finance Team - Recovering the abundant life that Jesus calls us into by promoting faithful stewardship of our personal resources, our finances, possessions, time, health, by coming to an understanding that all of what we have is on loan from God.
- Mission Team - Recovering the abundant life Jesus calls us into by loving and serving our neighborhood, city, and world.
- Worship Team - Recovering the abundant life Jesus calls us into by creating a space of worship that is Christ-centered and Spirit-led.
