NEWS
Student Housing Help
- Hello church! For those who may not know me, my name is Abby Yoder and I've been attending FGBC for the past 3.5 years as I've been completing my Masters in Physical Therapy.
- I'm reaching out to ask for help as I've been placed in New Westminster for 6 weeks at Royal Columbian Hospital in stroke rehab. I'll be there from Feb 14 - Mar 28 and I'm looking for a place to live within reasonable commuting distance to the hospital during that time!
- I'm wondering if there is anyone at FGBC that may have family or friends or connections in New Westminster or who knows someone who may be willing to house a student for 6 weeks while I complete my placement.
- If you maybe know someone or have further questions, please reach out to me (250 570 8961).
Giving at FGBC
- Did you know there a number of different ways you can give at FGBC? If you want more information, head to our website.
Rental Inquiries
- As a church, we occasionally get requests from people looking to rent a room or a suite for a few days to a few months, as they are in Prince George for a portion of schooling. Often these requests come with references from their church back home.
- Do you have a room or a suite that you would potentially be willing to rent out if the inquiry ever came in?
Small Groups
- Did you know we have many different small groups meeting throughout the week? The goal of these groups is to build relationships and grow as a follower of Jesus.
- This year, we are aiming to have small groups meet for 10 weeks at a time, before taking a break for a few weeks. This gives you a chance to connect even if you don't have the capacity to connect for an entire year.
- To see what groups are available, or to sign up, click here.
Student Ministry Registrations for the New School Year
- All minors who are involved in student ministry at Fort George Baptist Church are required to have a current registration form filled out. This includes any ministry where your child is left in the care of a screened volunteer, including, but not limited to Toddler Room, Sunday School, and Youth Ministry.
- This form is in effect for children's ministry taking place during the period of September 1, 2025-August 31, 2026.
- You can register online here. All online registrations will require an in person parental signature once ministry sessions begin in September.
- Alternatively, paper copies of this registration form are available at the church office.

LAUGH OF THE WEEK
Have you ever gone to another room to get something and then when you get there, stand there wondering what you came for. That is NOT a memory problem. It is God's way of making you get more exercise.
