In past years Fort George Baptist Church has participated in the Coldest Night of the Year Fundraiser. In Prince George, CNOY are again raising money for the Association for Women and Community (AWAC). AWAC is a non-profit agency that does an excellent job of providing supports to people at every level of the housing continuum. They recognize that homelessness, addictions and mental health are interwoven. Especially now, with such a housing crisis, support for AWAC is essential.
The CNOY fundraiser takes place on Saturday February 24 beginning at 4:00 pm at St. Giles Presbyterian Church and includes a 5 km walk followed by a light supper.
